Welcome
South Florida Behavioral Health Network is committed to
improving the lives of people with mental disorders and
addiction problems.
Our goal is to develop, implement and refine a coordinated
system of behavioral health care within the community that
enhances prevention, treatment and recovery services for those
at risk of or who are suffering from mental health and substance
abuse problems.
Our Role
As a network system of care, we oversee funding designated by
the state of Florida to help individuals in need of behavioral
health care. Our delivery system is performance-driven,
cost-effective and fiscally responsible.
We ensure care is delivered to:
• People who need treatment rather than incarceration
• Teens troubled by alcohol or substance abuse or
co-occurring
• Individuals suffering from mental health disorders
• Families in need of support and behavioral health
services
• War veterans who have behavioral health problems or
concerns
Our Goal
The South Florida Behavioral Health Network seeks to develop a
system of care that provides the best access to care
and strive for excellence in behavioral health service delivery.
